Keith Doherty
Art Director & User Interface Strategist
Keith has close to 15 years experience in web/interactive design, having worked with clients as diverse as the Discovery Channel, Major League Baseball, MTV and the New York Post.
A Midwesterner by birth, Keith came out west and received a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of The Arts. He graduated just in time to ride the great web 1.0 wave that hit San Francisco in the nineties: one of his first jobs after school was at the pioneering agency SF Interactive, where he quickly rose through the ranks to Art Director status, working with clients such as Snapple, VeriSign and the Golden Gate National Parks Association.
Since those days, Keith has worked at Carat Interactive, Yahoo, and Questus, designing and developing sites, banner ad campaigns and UI solutions for client such as Vodafone, Capital One, and Verizon.
Keith has participated extensively in dynamic usability testing, which involves multiple end-user behavior studies and iterative design testing. His experience working directly with clients and end-users has given him an appreciation for simplicity, utility and clarity: three words that encapsulate his approach to the complexities of UX design.
