How will a company of two be accretive to Google?
On Wednesday, Google bought a text message, social networking company called Dodgeball.com – according to The San Francisco Business Times. Why is this newsworthy? Dodgeball is a company of two people. What does Google see that the VCs didn’t? (Particularly since Dodgeball’s model is a VC buzzword double play – "Mobile Marketing" and "Social Networking.")
The folks over at AdRants think Google want to become a "stalker":
Now, not only will Google know your every online move, they will
potentially know your physical location anywhere in the world enabling
them to port their online contextual ad model to an offline,
geotextual, SMS ad model.there’s no stopping these guys.
